Amazon Nova Premier is the most capable model in Amazon’s Nova family, sitting above Pro, Lite, and Micro, and it’s built for complex, multi-step reasoning and long-document agentic workflows on Amazon Bedrock. It takes text, image, and video input and offers a one-million-token context window, priced at $2.50 per million input tokens and $12.50 per million output tokens. Amazon designed it partly as a teacher model for Bedrock’s distillation pipeline, so customers can use Premier’s outputs to train cheaper Nova models for narrower production tasks.

Premier rounds out the Nova lineup at the high end, aimed at customers running long-horizon agents, large-scale document review, or workflows that need to reason across many linked steps. Like the rest of the Nova family, Amazon markets it primarily on price relative to other frontier models rather than on topping public benchmark leaderboards, and it is only available through AWS Bedrock rather than as a standalone consumer product.
