Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber is Google’s dedicated security model, released alongside the general-purpose 3.8 Flash on September 2, 2026, and gated behind the new Fairwind Program rather than sold as a standard API product. Google says it clears 70 percent-plus on internal vulnerability-discovery tests across 20 languages, scores 47.2 percent pass@1 on CWE-Bench, and delivers 2.6 times more correct patches to Chrome vulnerabilities than leading commercial models in the company’s own testing.
