Aloud is built for the gap between what a developer means and what ends up in a written bug report or feature request. It records voice, screen, and a live transcript while someone talks through their app the way they naturally would, pointing at elements and changing their mind mid-sentence, then converts that into a clean set of instructions, flags anything that could be read two ways, and attaches the relevant screenshots.
The output is a set of tasks formatted for coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex to execute directly. Speech transcription runs locally through Whisper, so recordings stay on the Mac rather than being uploaded, which matters for developers working with client or proprietary code. Aloud is free and launched on Product Hunt in mid-August 2026.
