Altern Newsletter
Weekly AI tools and discoveries, curated by the Altern team
The Altern Newsletter comes from Altern, a site that catalogs AI tools. Each issue gathers newly launched products and resources the team found that week, with a short description of what each does. It is organized so a reader can skim for tools relevant to their work.
A weekly cadence keeps it manageable for busy readers. The content leans toward product discovery, not deep analysis, so it works well alongside news-focused newsletters. Items come from the team’s directory and community submissions, which means selection reflects what makers share.
The newsletter is free. As with any roundup, try tools yourself before relying on them and check pricing on the product sites. Alternatives include Ben’s Bites, TLDR AI, The Rundown AI, The Batch, and Futurepedia’s newsletter. The Altern Newsletter suits people who like to discover new tools every week.
