Test Companion is BrowserStack's agentic AI for software testing, built to live inside the IDE rather than as a separate dashboard. It writes and runs test scripts, debugs failing tests, and maintains them as an application changes, working across functional, visual, accessibility, and API testing rather than one narrow slice of QA. It plugs into existing frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, and WebdriverIO, and installs directly into VS Code, JetBrains IDEs, Cursor, and Antigravity. BrowserStack says over a thousand teams were already using it at launch to author and maintain tests roughly four times faster than before.
