Atlas is OpenAI's Chromium-based browser with ChatGPT wired into the sidebar of every page. It can summarize what's open, answer questions about the page you're looking at, and, in agent mode, click through sites and fill out forms on your behalf. It launched on Mac first, with Windows, iOS, and Android following, and it carries over your existing ChatGPT memory, so requests inside the browser draw on the same context as the app. It competes with Perplexity's Comet and Atlassian's Dia for the same bet: that browsing is the next place an AI assistant belongs.
