Kitesurf is a browser Cloudflare built specifically for AI agents to drive, not for people to look at. It runs on Cloudflare's Workers platform and strips out the parts of a normal browser that an agent has no use for, like tabs, themes, and extensions, which the company says cuts CPU and memory use well below Chromium for common agent tasks such as taking screenshots or pulling HTML off a page. It's aimed at developers building agents that need to fill out forms, click through sites, and complete browser-based tasks, with attention paid to AI-specific risks like prompt injection from a malicious page. Cloudflare built it in about twelve weeks and is offering it free during its beta through Browser Rendering on the developer platform.
