Freightos brings quoting and booking for international freight online. Shippers and forwarders enter details about a shipment and receive rates from carriers and forwarders, then book and manage the shipment on the platform. This replaces emailing multiple providers for quotes.
WebCargo is the air cargo side, used by forwarders to get rates and book space with airlines. Freightos also publishes the Freightos Baltic Index, a benchmark for container spot rates that is often cited in news about shipping costs. Its data helps businesses understand market conditions.
Freightos has free tools and paid services. Freight rates change quickly, and the final cost depends on surcharges and conditions. Alternatives include Flexport, Xeneta, Cargowise, Forto, and traditional forwarders. Freightos suits shippers and forwarders who want online quoting.
