Nansen

On-chain analytics with labeled wallets

Nansen turns raw blockchain data into readable information. Every wallet on a public chain is an anonymous string of characters, so Nansen builds a database of labels, tagging wallets that belong to exchanges, funds, protocols, and traders with a track record. Seeing that a labeled fund bought a token is more informative than seeing an unknown address.

Dashboards track token flows, new token launches, NFT activity, and the holdings of tagged wallets. Alerts notify users when watched wallets move funds, and analytical tools help researchers study a project’s holders and trading patterns. An AI assistant answers questions about on-chain data in plain language, and it supports many chains.

Nansen is paid, with plans by features, and a limited free view. Labels are inferred and can be wrong, and following other wallets is no guarantee of profit. The tool is for research, not financial advice. Alternatives include Arkham Intelligence, Dune, Glassnode, Etherscan, and DeFiLlama. Nansen suits crypto researchers and active traders.
